Minor operations and cryo-therapy are offered at the surgery to be undertaken by Dr Sharpe and Dr McKinley. A nurse will sit in to not only assist the doctor but to provide support to the patient. These surgeries take place once a month.
Please make an appointment with the doctor first, as they will need to decide whether it is appropriate to do the minor surgery within the practice or whether you need to have a referral to the hospital.
The following may fall under minor ops;
JOINT INJECTIONS - shoulder, tennis elbow, some wrist/thumb, hips (for trochanteric bursitis), knee, plantar fasciitis & trigger finger
MINOR OPERATIONS - minor (non-suspicious) skin lesions/moles - not on face, simple cysts including on scalp
