Salisbury Medical Practice are looking for Volunteers!

We are a large General Practice near the Centre of Salisbury in a newly built health centre. Working alongside other health care professionals we deliver a wide range of services for our patients. Proud to be an innovative practice we look at new ways of delivering health care to our patients, whilst ensuring excellent person centered care is at the heart of what we do. Café Volunteer

We are looking for people who would like to serve tea, coffee and light refreshments to the local community, whilst meeting new and interesting people. You would work in pairs so there's someone to chat to and you have a manager available to ask questions. This is a new venture to try and create a sense of community and a place where people can go after their appointments or to meet in support groups.

Support Cafe Volunteer

Working in partnership with Harcourt Medical Centre and Millstream Medical Centre, we run a range of support cafes for anyone living within Wiltshire. We are looking for people who enjoying meeting others and socialising with a range of individuals. Part of the role would be to make teas and coffee and ensure everyone is welcomed to the group.  Volunteer Administrator

Salisbury Medical Practice has a very busy surgery office, and we are offering the opportunity to develop different office skills, customer service and teamwork. We will develop the role to suit the volunteer but tasks could include filing, form filling, assisting with the room bookings, preparing documents and general office support.
